Some have pointed out that it is possible to download previous versions of LPX depending upon the time of purchase and other factors. I've never upgraded my OS to anything beyond Mojave while using Logic Pro X. Is there any other way? ( such as downloading an older version of Logic)ĮDIT: I should have mentioned that at the time I bought Logic Pro X it was 2019 and I was running High Sierra or Mojave at that time. So, the LPX that I paid for cannot be downloaded and installed unless I have macOS 10.15.7 (I'm running 10.14.6). You must navigate to the Purchases area, find your purchased software and download from there. However, if you try to search for Logic Pro X in the Apple App Store and attempt to download from that area you WILL NOT be given the option to download an earlier version of LPX. You’ll be given the option to download an older version - provided you bought the app earlier in time. If you’re looking for an older version of Logic Pro X or Final Cut Pro you must navigate to the Purchases area within the Apple App Store, find the software you’ve purchased, and download from there.
